'Event Tags' in Momento 2 were used for a variety of purposes, many that may differ from the usage in Momento 3. To ensure data is preserved properly 'Event Tags' will be converted to 'Tags' when migrating to Momento 3.
We plan to provide functionality which will allow you to convert the migrated 'Event Tags' to 'Events' in the future.
