If you have a '.momento' backup file from Momento Classic, or have Momento Classic installed on an old device, and you want to restore that data to Momento 3 on a new device, you need to carry out the following steps.
1. Create a Momento Classic Backup
If you already have a Momento Classic backup file then you can skip this step.
If you don't have a .momento backup file from Momento Classic you will need to create one. This will allow you to move your Momento Classic data to the device you have Momento 3 installed on.

2. Download Momento Classic
If you don't have Momento Classic downloaded to the device you want to use Momento 3 on, then you will need to download it from the App Store. As Momento Classic is no longer available for sale on the App Store you will need to download this from the 'Purchased' section of the App Store.

3. Restore Momento Classic data to Momento Classic
Once installed, you will need to restore your Momento Classic data. You can do this by following the steps in the previously mentioned FAQ: Backing up and restoring Momento Classic data
Please note: If you already have Momento 3 installed and setup, the restore process may fail so you will need to carry out the following steps: Restoring Data in Momento Classic after installing Momento 3
4. Import your data into Momento 3
Once you have restored your Momento Classic data, run Momento 3 and follow our FAQ to import your Momento Classic data: Importing Data from Momento Classic
5. Done!
You should now have your Momento Classic data in Momento 3.
