Please note: Momento 3 can import your Momento Classic data directly. You do not need a Momento Classic backup file to do this. For more information please see the 'Importing Data from Momento Classic' FAQ.
If you need to restore data to Momento Classic to then transfer to Momento 3 we recommend doing this BEFORE beginning your journal in Momento 3 as restoring Momento Classic with the new Momento installed isn't possible for technical reasons.
How to restore Momento Classic after installing Momento 3
The following procedure requires you to delete both Momento Classic and Momento 3. As a result your data in Momento 3 will be lost and cannot be recovered. We recommend copying and pasting any irreplaceable moments you wish to keep into Momento Classic before carrying out this procedure.
